OK listem up!

go to Settings - Userpage
Make sure that you have 'over ride page colours' ticked then you should be able to change the colours on your page. (you have to use the RGB colour codes. If you don't know any then just type 'RGB colour chart' into google images)

Also, if you wanna change the backgrounds and titles an' stuff, you can use the 'page overides'. There's a pretty good tutorial there if you have trouble with getting things changed.
